Massacre Falls

We decided to head out for a hike in the Superstition Mountains since it's fairly close and we haven't been there in some time. Why it is named Massacre Falls I don't know, but we get colorful in Arizona. For instance, Bloody Basin has nothing to do with mayhem, it's named for the bright red dirt. All I know is it's a great little hike with beautiful scenery.
